ABOUT stephen dargo

Stephen Dargo brings over two decades of architectural expertise to projects ranging from major cultural institutions to intimate residential renovations.

A graduate of Columbia University's Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation, he worked for 25 years in New York City with top corporate interior firms, designing and managing projects for both emerging startups and established corporations.

He founded his own practice in 2017 and relocated to Rhode Island in 2021, now maintaining offices in Jamestown while serving as adjunct faculty at Roger Williams University Cummings School of Architecture and NYC College of Technology in Brooklyn (remotely). He’s a registered architect in the states of New York, Rhode Island and Massachusetts, and he’s also been a member of the AIA since 2009.

Stephen's approach is rooted in a fundamental belief: exceptional design isn't determined by project scale, but by the rigor and care applied to every detail.

In his practice, there are no small projects —- only opportunities to demonstrate that thoughtful architecture can transform any space.
